There are no formal bylaws for franchises, some groups will have created their own informal rules/laws/codes of conduct, and some may be similar from one group to the next... But there isn't a broadly accepted set of bylaws with which franchises operate.

Some groups may be okay with cooperation with other groups, other groups may prefer to operate solo from each other.

There's probably an unspoken agreement between most franchises to peacefully coexist, and I believe most do... But there are definitely some franchises that don't get along with each other/get along well with any other franchises.
Some are the result of schisms and drama from what was once a single group, others are the result of some franchises teams getting a little arrogant and domineering in their respective location (or even outside of it).

"Are there any guidelines on what individual group bylaws need to contain "

An idea to get you started is to google other fans clubs and read what they wrote .
For StarWars , the 501 is one of the largest ( and I think they are officially backed by Lucus Inc ( or who ever owns StarWars ))

Rocky Horror Picture Show has thousands of ' Shadow-Casts ' ( live action fan clubs )

Not sure who else ...... LARP's ? ( Live Action Role Playing )

OK, that clears things up. Thanks.

Basically the answer is that the ghost corps in general does not require use of a general template for bylaws so that consistency exists from franchise to franchise.

There are also basically no requirements from ghost corps on how groups are to interact with each other.

I know that these are sticky questions, but I wanted an answer from the horses mouth so to speak, so thank you for that. An officially worded statement from senior members helps gauge how one needs to interact within the confines of what the group considers acceptable and normal behavior.
