Was wondering where one can acquire a set similar (or preferably, identical) to the ones that came with the Spengler pack. I browsed the site's store and couldn't find them.
AJ will offer a hardware kit at some point, probably closer to the release next March. I first asked him during in a live stream chat and on one of this shop update threads here. He will offer them.

zeta otaku wrote: July 6th, 2025, 7:07 am Ever since the announcement of the 84 pack, what do we think the odds Hasbro will pump out an 84 trap and PKE in the future (not a boxed set, but as separate items)?
I wouldn't be surprised at this point. Having an '84 line separate from the HasLabs seems to be working for them if they're willing to make the pack.

I'm not familiar with AJ, but that sounds promising! Thank you! <3

I dont have a clue who anyone is...but thats the nature of the internet to me. But i sincerly hope they do a complete 84 line with PKE Meeter and Trap. The Trap i feel is allready the 84 version because outside of the option to switch the thingy on the peddle and the red and silver bars on the side of the trap, their is no major difference between the films as far as i can tell. As for the PKE Meeter, outside of the Taser mode which is from Afterlife...again no major difference.

What id love is a pair of Ecto Goggles and....a Ghost Sniffer or Giga Meeter. (The ghost sniffer being the device Peter used in Dana's Appartment). That should be a super simple item to put out...its basically a box with a pump and a wand. I know it was based off some kind of gas detector back in the 80s, and they put out a real ghostbusters toy of it that would velcro or suction cup ghost into the end and you put them in the thing...but i never got one of those...i think most of those toys were rare.

But those would be cool. I know they said they would never do a full blown slime blower which makes total sense because that would be massive and cost a grand AT LEAST!

BUT I STILL DONT SEE WHY SOMEONE SOMEWHERE CANT PUT OUT A DANCING TOASTER..... A simple Bluetooth Speaker in a toaster body with acuator legs that dances to the music...that cant be to hard to make....

Nothing on the backing front for GB props yet?

So, I watched a video (link at the end of this post) where they talked to the Hasbro crew that were by the GB merch at SDCC (Ectoglow stuff, 84 pack, the Ect-1/1A HasLab). They were a bit dodgy (they have to be for now), but they started talking
about the up coming anniversary of the REAL Ghostbsuters, so, if I were a betting man, my money is on the next HasLab being something RGB related. Personally I'm hoping for 1:1 RGB props (surprise, surprise) and I REALLY hope it's not more figures. Mondo kinda has that covered >_>

Some RGB props would be great, a firehouse re-release would be awesome too!

With next year being the 40th anniversary of The Real Ghostbusters premiere, I can only imagine what Hasbro might have planned for future Kenner Classics releases.

Citizen Ghost Kenner Classic figures would be great... But given the strong chance Mondo could do them, maybe they might do the long-desired Firehouse, or maybe even make the unproduced Egon's lab set. :)

Hasbro has Star Wars Force Ghost figures with see through hands and feet. So maybe they will do the green ghost versions of the guys.

I wouldn't mind a full scale RGB Ecto. If they announce it over the next couple of month's we'd get it in time for the anniversay. DO IT HASBRO!

What do you mean? Hasbro re-released the Kenner Ecto-1 in 2021, and will be doing-so again this year with the Ecto-Glow variant.

Like the level of scale and detail if Hasbro did a Haslab Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1 like what they're doing with Ecto-1 and Ecto-1a in the Ectomobile Haslab?

Wait... full scale? Like... life sized? -picturing shipping container sized mailer boxes littering the streets- HOW?!

No, like the Ecto they released last year and were still waiting for.

Oh, the HasLab!? A year ago, I'd say no way, but with the release of the 84 proton pack, anything is possible. That said, really the only thing they'd be able to re-use would be the electronics from the base Ecto-1... maybe the wheels?

A new RGB Ecto would probably require a whole new backing if they decided to do it. The question would be would they step on Mondo's toes by launching a whole new RGB figure line?

I believe a HasLab Ecto-1/1A-scale Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1 would very much be stepping on Mondo's toes, and as such I don't believe anyone would be doing an upscaled Ecto-1 from the cartoon other than Mondo themselves.

With the 40th anniversary, Hasbro should have something big planned. Should. Plus, they are the master licensor so they won't feel too bad about stepping on Mondo's plans. Let's remember, Mondo is only doing figures right now. Places, vehicles are just pie in the sky for them going on past comments on their livestreams. But on the flip side, if Hasbro does a completely new Ecto-1, that's not like reusing a mold like with Ecto-Glow Ecto. New costs them more. Surely they are are watching Ecto Glow sales before deciding on something big like that. I'm more interested in them making more un-made stuff like the Spengler lab and Fire truck for the 40th anniversary. But on the other hand, GB fans are used to double and triple dipping on owning multiple versions of things like 'ol Ecto.

I have a few versions of Ecto myself, so that's not surprising. It would be itneresting to see if they do another Ecto if they'll make sure the mondo figures fit inside the vehicle.

They could do both at the same time by making the unproduced Backpack Hero figures! A product Kenner didn't get to produce, AND a reuse of the Series 1 molds at the same time!

i love the idea of Ghostbusters 2 figures in the real ghostbusters line....Even if they just reused the same molds from wave one, repainted them the dark grey outfits, slapped the 2 logo on the shoulder, and gave winston and ray Slime Blowers....and made an original Vigo figure, maybe the scholari (sp?) brothers as a two pack...id be in heaven with that set. It be the same style as the real ghostbusters but just the 2nd movie. Wasnt there a comic like that?

That'd be a neat idea, though more ambitious than I ever thought of; I would have been happy with official slime blowers/"Ecto Chargers" that the Series 1 figures could wear.

There have been a few fan creations along that line, but official ones made from sturdier plastic would be awesome.

thats right...i do recall seeing a video on someone making 3D printed stuff. If i recall correctly they also made a more detail roof rack for the RGB ecto-1. Hasbro needs to look into doing stuff like this cause not everyone can afford a 3d Printer and its nice to have "Official" stuff, not to disrespect fan made stuff, with todays tech the fan made stuff is often better in some instances then the offical stuff. I remember when Jason over at Ghostbusters News 3d Printed a full size RGB Proton Pack and a upscaled version of the firehouse. I wish i had the money and space, id go out and buy a 3d Printer and do that as well. But i dont. But Hasbro if you want even more of my money, you should look at what some of the fans are doing!
