Probably just a production hiccup overseas, need to do a few more tweaks on paint or glow, or shipping logistics. Nothing really to lose sleep over.
Could the remaining Ecto Glow series be cancelled if sales fall short of targets?

Or maybe a haslab campaign for a firehouse for the ecto 1's? Im sure they could easly put out more retro figures...but i dont see anything beyond that this year. With Kenner they can keep doing reissues of whichever waves they haven't done yet and/or release more of the unreleased toys like Egon's Lab or Fire Frighter. Though with Ecto Glow, after a long absence of Kenner releases, this was an interesting choice to focus on one theme. Maybe the next one will be focused on reissuing certain vehicles like Ecto-2 then end the wave with releasing the 2 unmade ones, Fire Frighter and the Ghost Removal Service (garbage truck).
Going forward though, i think their is only so many things you can do that arent some variation of a re-issue of something we all ready have....Maybe a repaint of the haslab Ecto 1 in rusted colors for Afterlife, or the red stripe drone version from frozen empire? (The 84 proton pack is just a resculpt of the Spengler pack...lets be honest here, and thats great, that sold out...so their is clearly demand for it).

That and the Backpack heros line...that be cool...maybe even the space suit ones? Athough i never loved the idea of the ghostbusters in space. I get they did it in an episode of the cartoon series, but i always like the idea they were down to earth exterminators....Ghosts in space sounds like one of those stupid ideas they rejected from the reboot. Keep the team grounded. You can have fun with the idea in action figures, none of that stuff is Cannon, and even the cartoon its like "Well its a kids cartoon" but keep that stuff far away from live action as possible.yourbigpalal83 wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2026, 11:36 pm If i had to guess, this being the 40th Anniversary of The Real Ghostbusters, this fall, we might get some more retro figures...Maybe a Reissue of the classic firehouse (one can hope)... The other lines, well that's for the other threads.

Specifically, Egon's lab and the Backpack Heroes. Hopefully, there would be a market for them. Perhaps they would sell better than later waves due to them being unreleased. Either way, they have my money.

yourbigpalal83 wrote: ↑January 30th, 2026, 1:49 am Yeah...but...those kinda sucked to be honest with ya. It still boggles my mind how modern day figures (meant for kids) feel cheeper and lesser quality then the ones we got. It's not that boggling, toy companies are trying to maximise their profits by reducing the overall quality and cutting expenses while charging us more at the point of sale.

910dohead wrote: ↑March 4th, 2026, 7:56 am Weren't we supposed to have a pre-order for the Ecto-Glow Copter during NYTF? If so, it never happened. Also, it was completely absent at Hasbro's booth from what I could make out online. Did sales of the other Ecto-Glow offerings warrant the production of this vehicle or did this toy get cancelled for a third time (RGB Kenner / Police Academy Kenner / Plasma Hasbro) ?No, pre-orders start at San Diego Comic Con in July.
yourbigpalal83 wrote:)Idk...the older figures feel like more love and effort were put into them. The modern ones feel rushed out the door to me.The modern Hasbro Fright Features certainly felt that way. If they’d given the overalls a unique colour for each Buster and packed in quality ghost designs they would’ve sold a lot more. Podcast’s was probably the best with the mini Bug-Eye. But overall the beige overalls and lacklustre ghosts meant they didn’t feel like an extension of Fright Features. If they’d given them transparent plastic ghosts and the same card design as the Kenner ones then they’d have been more popular.
WCat2000 wrote: ↑April 6th, 2026, 9:33 pmI’m probably in the minority but I think these Ecto Glow toys are really overpriced.I was willing to pay whatever they asked for the previous Ecto Glow figures, due to them being re-releases of what were rare figures. But I do agree that these repainted additions to the line are overpriced. I'm also much more interested in the Copter and Louis than I am in getting the Ecto or two-pack.
