lol, a bug zapper trap would be hilarious. Plus, they already made a No logo version for them that appeared at the end of Afterlife they can use for the product.
My user icon. You could name it the Mini Poof!...not that I’m advocating for this, haha.

Ha ha, I like it. Hmm, gotta wonder what ramifications, positive or negative, a Mini-Puft infestation across the USA would be for the Stay Puft Marshmallows company...

They stayed in business after the first movie’s events. I guess it was considered an isolated incident and it doesn’t seem like many people were aware of the Mini Pufts in Afterlife except whoever was at Walmart.

So I assume an infestation would be negative for them. Mainly because they cause problems. People might lose their appetite for marshmallows too. Especially if it’s like the Liberty Mutual commercial.

Well, if the Mini-Pufts cause a major accident on a highway, a house fire, stab or maim a person -- that's an interesting legal quagmire. Is the Stay Puft Marshmallows company liable because that's their product causing property damage and bodily harm but in reality it's supernatural animation at play. Sounds like another article for The Atlantic Monthly.

That’s comforting that Ernie’s in the know of writers. Must mean something is brewing. I’m okay with new writers as long as Gil and Jason are there to shape the tone and expectations. A common complaint was the writing on both films, but Gil and Jason did know how to successfully recreate the atmosphere Ivan built.

Usually Ernie bounces back with his joke “well I haven’t see any money.” If he doesn’t know anything.

Or maybe he use the word "writers" referring to both Gil and Jason.

But I admit I'd be happy to see new people taking a crank at it, as long as it expands the existing universe and it's notba reboot/remake.

"Common complaint" or "common compliment," BatDan?

I'm sure Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan will at least produce and maybe get 'Story by' credit then this new writer(s) write the actual screenplay then in drafts, Reitman, Kenan, and Aykroyd have their input, too. I'm sure Reitman and Kenan sort of got "practice" with this sort of process with the Dark Horse comics working with a writer and maybe even the animated material, too.

That would make sense, given the 3 pages Windy City treatment that has been registered in January.

I choose to take this as a good sign. Hopefully, we'll start to see a roadmap coming together in the not-too-distant future.
