Hello all,
I was watching a rerun of CSI New York with my father recently, it was the one about the serial killer who drove a taxi to abduct and kill his victims for those interested. When the CSI's found his cab, they found a piece of an old fire hose in the cab which lead them to his hideout which was an old firehouse. My dad jokingly said it was the Ghostbusters fire house, thought the outside design was different. I was about to correct him when the camera changed to an inside view and low and behold THE INSIDE WAS FIRESTATION #23 IN LA WHERE THE INTERIOR SHOTS OF THE FIREHOUSE IN BOTH GB FILMS WERE DONE. The green striped walls and the barn style doors helped to clue me in to this fact.
My dad was really amazed that I picked up on this little fact and I told him the whole history of station # 23 in LA being used in many films after GB and GB II . I think after this I should maybe write a book on famous movie locations in the US. LOL
