1. Ive noticed almost all the pics and shells of the proton packs powercell ribs, the TOP rib goes down abit and then jogs over to the ion arm platform.
when you can see as clear as day the top rib on bills pack goes straight down on this shot.

2. As for the Booster, is there some type of weld to the Ion arm? In somepictures it seems like there is a bracket there?

3. Injectors have said to have an L-bracket attaching them to the pack shell. Is there any really good pictures of this and where to mount it, and is it mounted to both or only one injector tube. Thank you in advance for your information. Just trying to make a pack worth showing.

I can kind of help with #3. It shows where the L bracket is mounted, but I couldn't say if it was mounted to both tubes or not...

All the hero packs had that "shelf" on the top of the powercell going over to the EDA.

Here is a shots of the hero pack that was at the Minnesota Planet Hollywood:



Here is a semi hero pack that is on display at sony showing that same shelf.


So that extra material seems to be part of the mold so would be on each pack.

As for the booster tube, there is a weld connecting it to the ion arm on they hero packs.

It can also be seen on some of the semi-hero packs. It was probably there to stabilize the the ion arm from getting knocked around too much.

Here's the same pack after it was moved to Sony's Lobby out in California:


In this shot, you can see that bracket is riveted to the fiberglass shell.

In this shot, it looks like the bracket is also riveted to the injector tubes (or atleast one of them)

That's not clear as day, it's no where near clear as day. It's a grainy scan of a poorly lit promo picture.

grab a length of 2 x 2 x 1/8" thick aluminum angle bracket from the hardware store and cut it into 1.5" wide pieces. use four of them to mount your pack shell to your motherboard and use the other one for your injectors.

Just got in "Ghostbusters a Storybook by Anne Digby" The cover is the same picture linked in first post. Top rib is clear as day and straight as an arrow. Looks like dan's pack is also like this. Im trying to score some actual photos so they can be scanned, blown up and color corrected in photoshop.
