Okay, so it's a bit late since this happened on Fourth of July weekend, but we had so much fun hosting our Ghostbustin' 911 party room that I had to share some pics. This was our 5th year of setting up shop at CONvergence, and it was one of our best yet!
This year was, of course, dedicated to the fantastic Mr. Harold Ramis.
We even prepared a special Ectohol label in Egon's honor.
Jason Skoby (Vincent Gehin) transforming the hotel room into a containment unit.
Suzi from GB911 getting ready to help add to the atmosphere.
A friend of ours donated his awesome tripod traps to the cause.
As well as his Keymaster colander.
Our buddy Dante with the ECU.
My full on cartoon Egon outfit.
Our pal, and fellow buster, Jeremy Horn
BARRRRF!
Skoby made claws for his Wolverine costume.
I had to try them out for myself.
My wife Jen and I busting a Hutt.
Cartoon Egon meets movie Egon.
Frank Parr, storyboard artist for The Real Ghostbusters, joined the party.
Is she a God?
She's whatever she wants to be.
Mini trooper and mini buster
They earned themselves some marshmallows.
Mrs. Pac-Man came to party.
Naturally, she was followed by a few ghosts.
The Gatekeeper was there.
"A Death in the Family" Joker stopped by. He's a good friend of ours.
Daft Punk came by to class up the joint.
...and class up my car.
We got to meet Stewie Griffin
Our pal, Fat Freddy the Zombie got to dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller with a horde of undead.
Pam and her dolphin puppet paid us a visit.
The hotel remained spook free for 4 days thanks to the TCGBs.
Egon made sure the Slimer Shots and Mood Slime were flowing.
After 4 days for hard work and fun, we packed it up and headed home! Over 6,000 people attended the 4 day convention. To those who joined us in our party room (and there were TONS of you) thank you so much for making it a blast! We love to see you all there each year, and thank you for making our room the fun hangout is has become over the years. We can't do it without YOU!
