Anyone know of an incandescent light kit for the power cell and cyclotron that play nicely with the GBFans kits? I like the LEDs, but think it would be that much more awesome to have real bulbs in therd.

I've only ever seen one from PropForge: https://www.ebay.com/itm/175933183324

It's possible you could power it from the gbfans soundboard (so it switches on when you activate the pack via the wand switch) but I can't confirm that.

As detailed in the ebay description you'll need higher amperage for these bulbs, so you might need a separate battery which can do 2.5amps minimum, plus you need to pay attention to heat and let them cool down.

I thought about doing this too, but in the end I just added an incandescent "fadeout" to my Cyclotron LEDs to try to emulate the way these look. I also considered changing the colour from red (and blue for the power cell) to a yellow/warm white behind the lenses, but it didn't make a huge difference to me.

Thanks everyone. I had seen that eBay kit and actually reached out to the seller to find out if it was compatible. He said he didn't think it would work but maybe with the separate battery it would...

It would be awesome if Spongeface qould do another kit. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Thanks again for the responses, guys. I appreciate it.

Ahhh this is an idea i might do this, you need a separate battery and you need to swap the switch on your wand to a DPST (double pole, single throw) because you need a single throw of the switch to turn on two circuits and have them isolated. DPST is effectively two separate switches with one mechanical throw.
There would be no functionality between them it's just when you throw the switch you are completing two circuits, separate on their own battery.
No reason why that wouldn't work.
A talentcell wont work out of the box, 12v is too high and USB is too low, and so you need to wire the 12volt to a buck converter , buy a 12volt to 6 volt 3A converter.

You're absolutely correct, it should work well. It's effectively the same as having two separate circuits with two separate switches. And DPST switches of the right size are relatively easy to find, I have one here which matches the others on my wand:

Ok so i did get the propforge incandescent kit and i was able to combine it with the jupiter wand kit with realistic bargraph, i had to make a harness of wire connections for the jupiter kit because the bargraph normally is hard wired meaning the circuit board will be in the way of a pop mech.

So the board is viable but you need to create a set of leads to the bargraph so you can have a pop mech, so that was the one bit of hassle with this set up.
I combined those with the GB fans soundboard:

1) 12 volt battery goes to soundboard

2) continuous power lead from soundboard to wand (jupiter light kits power terminals)
3) Switched power terminals on soundboard to 6 volt buck converter, buck converter 6v output to prop forge kits power inputs
4)prop forge power switch terminals shorted so that it is always on
5) jupiter fire switch ground lead to fire terminal on soundboard
6) jupiter power on : connect two leads to the other terminals of switch then take those to the switch on terminals of gb fans soundboard

So when i switch on wand it draws 12 volt from soundboard, it is a dpst switch so one side is simply turning on the wand and its lights and drawing power from soundboard.
At the same time as i do that the other side is activating the soundboard telling it the system is turned on and to a) play power on sound and b) send power out to switched output, the switched output then sends 12 volts to buck converter which then sends 6 volts to light kit, light on pack come on alongside wand and power up sound and then when switching off, the power down sound plays and the soundboard instructs propforge kit to shutdown.

All on one battery.
