- June 21st, 2024, 8:42 am#4998782I just worked my way through this, but here's what I did:
1) Disconnect the Ion Arm switch.
2) Remove the 4 screws holding the Ion Arm in place.
3) Remove the Ion Arm (it requires some prying).
4) Unscrew the 2 screws at the very bottom of the Booster Tube on the inside.
5) Remove the screw about halfway up the tube on the inside...it's roughly in line with the top of the Power Cell (mine was covered by a velcro strip for a battery pack so I cut a small hole in the velcro to get at it.
6) The booster tube should slide out.
It might be possible to remove the Booster without taking the Ion Arm out, but I wasn't sure how and if it was connected to the tube, so I went and took it out first just to get it out of the way.
Hope that helps!
