Struggling with Hat Lights.

I'm working on my custom pack (Life Size Spirit and Spengler wand combo) and am in dire need of some SloanLED authentic 855-S type D... in red. my pack's whole schtick is the all red lighting (supposed to have an overclocked cyclotron and a serious heat management issue because of it) and I'm going for a GPStar kit soon, and i fully intend to have red hat lights, but don't wanna have to use a custom order reproduction resin set or similar. I've seen people use similar or equivalent indicators, but I think they look... wrong. anybody have a lead on where i could get 5 or so of them (ideally no stamped text on the top)?

Would applying a red layer (paint or pen, ect.) to some white GBFans Hat Lights be an acceptable option?

I would like to keep the glossy look of the hat lights with maximum visibility. Paint would likely dim the light and/or become matte That's why I'm specifically looking for authentic ones. :( I'm aware the store here formerly sold them, but I'm like a decade late on that front. Hmm.

Try asking gbhqpartsdepot on etsy/ebay. He seems to be able to lay hands on a lot of vintage parts.

When I look at her store, she has transparent red hat lights for sale for $25 a piece. I've made two purchases from her (milky hatlights and banjos) and they arrived safely and as described.

Just out of curiousity, were you able to get the red hat lights? I saw they're now listed as "sold out", so I didn't know if you nabbed them.
