Good question. I'd like to know if Haslab has any plans on releasing any new versions of the slime/marshmallow attachments to go along with the packs?

To me it mostly looks like the spengler pack with some parts swapped out.Yeah those weird dimpled nippled PPD discs look AWFUL. I really want to love this all they have to do is fix that and the V hook

Im not buying a pack if i dont know if i can get an 84 wand.Oh rest easy they will absolutely have more for sale, but you can get one right now on amazon. Bigbadtoystore too I think
GhostFaceX wrote: ↑June 10th, 2025, 9:21 am What bugs me is the V hook is still on backwards. On the Haslab, the V hook was installed backwards at the factory even though they had it on correctly in the prototype pics. I hope they fix it.the V Hook is backwards?? I never noticed on my back before I had to sell it. Did people fix it pretty easy?
DekaPrime wrote: ↑June 11th, 2025, 11:16 amYep it’s backwards on all the finished products. If you look at the prototype pictures on the Haslab website it’s shown the right way as intended. With the entirely flat part on the outside as one would expect.GhostFaceX wrote: ↑June 10th, 2025, 9:21 am What bugs me is the V hook is still on backwards. With the entirely flat part on the outside as one would expect.I don't have the Haslab pack but I've helped re-holster a few Haslab wands during events, never realised that the hook was backwards! I just thought it was poorly designed (which is probably why several of my franchise members have since upgraded to real V-Hooks).
Pretty easy to fix if you take your pack apart and unbolt it from inside. Then you might have to re countersink the holes
GhostFaceX wrote: ↑June 12th, 2025, 10:03 am Yeah I really hope they fix that, and the weird PPD discs / dimples / target symbols. Those should be flat with just a tiny nub in the middle. Or a screw hole.I can try and pass along concerns to my contacts. Just to be clear it's:
I’m trying to make as much noise about this as I can but I don’t know how to contact Hasbro. If they just fixed those things and maybe make the clipboard larger, it’d be perfect.

Apparently it won’t come with Alice frame mounting hardware?? So how do we get that?

-Is there a stand?
=Is there a hardware kit for the Alice frame?
-Is there a connection hose included?
-V-hook is installed backwards
-The PPD discs right of the ribbon cable should be "flat with just a tiny nub in the middle. Or a screw hole."
Anything else, anyone?
Well, prop community on Etsy should have a hardware kit. AJ Quick will if this doesn't come with a kit.
Kingpin wrote: ↑June 12th, 2025, 6:50 pm The prototype has Afterlife/Frozen Empire - style strain reliefs on some of the replica pneumatic hoses... While I imagine this wouldn't be a dealbreaker, it's not accurate to how they looked in 1984.If it makes anyone feel better they used Syrian relief on the OG packs in afterlife which is sort of a retconned version of the original packs.
The red label on the Gear Box should be located more centrally, rather than veering to the left-hand-side of that part of the Pack.
The lower section of the grey elbow on the HGA looks far too short.
The mounting screws should be Cap-Head-style with washers underneath. Silver button-head-style screws were a detail first found in the 1989 Proton Packs.

Ericfessette wrote: ↑June 13th, 2025, 5:22 pm Does the pack come with a wand and Will the Matty wand work with it??Like the previous Spengler Pack, the 1984 Plasma Series pack does not come with the thrower. The Hasbro Pack wasn't designed to work with the Mattel thrower, so as standard they aren't compatible... And I don't know if anyone has found a way to make them work together.
timeware wrote: ↑June 13th, 2025, 7:27 pm There is a coupler part that would work with the hose. While it wouldn't make the Matty collector rifle compatible, it could be a temporary stand in until you can afford the Hasbro rifle.Look who’s converting the hasbro pack to a GB2 semi-hero
jonogunn wrote: ↑June 13th, 2025, 3:40 amNone whatsoever. The way it was constructed originally wouldn’t really make sense to have them like they. God I hope Hasbro isn’t copying some bad fan made version.mrmichaelt wrote: ↑June 12th, 2025, 5:16 pmDoes anyone have pics of the movie props that have discs like that?

From what I researched I couldn’t find any however it’s been a pretty common build for DIY packs in the community. So I assume it must have come from an actual pack?
Kingpin wrote: ↑June 12th, 2025, 6:50 pmI think it was on the left side on the semi hero packs for GB2. But the entire point of the 84 pack is that it’s based on GB1 so I hope they fix that and don’t say “well you can see it like that on our archive pack” or something.

ccv66 wrote: ↑June 14th, 2025, 5:43 am It's a $300 pack, you can spend $300 on upgrades and still be cheaper then anything else on the market.I’ve had a lot of people tell me to literally not say anything. Be happy etc. but it makes no sense. It’s not done yet so why not point out flaws they can fix?
I think macks factory wand alone is around $1500... Ill cut $300 pack , some slack
