That wasn't what I meant.
TMNT, 'Trek, 'Wars etc. have had those multiple toy and collectible releases because their fan communities are substantial in size, and carry a lot more disposable income that toy/collectable companies can tap into than our much-smaller fan community... Were our fan community similar to any of those franchises, we probably wouldn't have seen things get so spare between 1991-1997, and 1997-2009, as we might've had new movies and a new TV show/s much sooner than the 2020s...

In scope of size, and in considering the current merchandise that's being made for it (or has been made for it in recent years), our standing is possibly comparable to Back to the Future, that franchise's fan community, and the position that film/film series holds in the current cultural zeitgeist. It's warmly-regarded, and will continue to enjoy sales, but it won't sell like gang busters like the latest offering from Lucasfilm or Paramount.

I knew what you meant. I just phrased it wrong. I agree GB overall has not had the benefit of consistent movies/shows like those other franchises...yet we’ve still gotten a good amount of merchandise over the years. That’s a better way to put it.

The new cartoon and animated movie are gonna have toy lines so those will probably take priority. I just wouldn’t be surprised if another RGB line comes around.

I’m wouldn’t say the GB community isn’t big enough. Clearly Star Wars and Star Trek are above. TMNT is too because it stayed relevant.

There was a ship date on the Hasbro UK site or were you quoted August 22 in your invoice? If the latter, I would contact customer support and inquire about an updated ship estimate.

I noticed initially when they went online on August 1 here in the US, they said they would ship August 11. So a 10 day turnaround (which I scoff at but that's another discussion) so maybe yours should ship by the 27th since you ordered on the 17th, right?

I dont know if its my email address or what but i never get a notification when ever anything i order from Hasbro ships. I have to manually check my account to see whats up. I dont know if thats standard policy for all of them or just an issue on my end. But i do feel bad for fans overseas who get their products later.

Now, outside of pre orders likely at New York Comic Con for the Ecto Glow Stay Puff and Slimer....The Haslab Ecto-1's should be the next items from them to ship to backers, (Hopefully by Christmas) then in Feburary and March the Ecto Glow Ecto 1, Rooftop set and 84 Pack? I dont think they are anouncing a Haslab ghostbusters set this year unless i missed something!

They are a mixed bag. Sometimes they email, sometimes email a few days later, and sometimes not at all. But I covered that inconsistency by signing up for FedEx's FedEx Delivery Manager who automatically sent me updates. Though I'm not sure if they used FedEx for Ecto-Glow.

So far, yes. No, no new HasLab was announced this year so far.

Just a heads up.

The Ecto Glow 4-pack is sold out on Hasbro Pulse UK.

However, the Ecto-1 is now back in stock for pre-order. Although please don’t order them all before I finish work, thanks.

Ordered the Ecto.

Amazed the Ecto Glow collectors sets are already selling for £130 on ebay.

Of this Ecto Glow range I think the future sought after figures will be the Stay Puft and Slimer. Because the paint swap is probably the weakest, they’re the least exciting figures - I think smaller run, less sales. The Collectors Set, Ecto-1 & Tully / Copter will be more popular.

Based on no expertise in this area whatsoever.

im cool with waiting. Space out my money more, have something to look forward to. As it is, March is going to be expensive for me next year with the 84 pack and the rooftop set. Im cool with waiting until the spring or summer for ecto glow slimer and mr stay puft.

Also we still got 3 more mondo figures to go plus Janine when she goes up for pre order next year, not to mention the Haslab Ectos if you snagged them.

Im kinda both bummed out yet relieved we dident get a haslab set this year. Maybe Next Year. Please hasbro can we get both a re make of the kenner classic firehouse and a Haslab firehouse for the ectos?

During an Ecto-Glow video, at around 6 min, a 1st look at the Louis figure was provided. Pat Dennis would not comment any further but 3 min. in or so did say Ecto-Copter will close out the collection. So either he releases between now and SDCC or is paired with the copter release. Towards the end, Craig revealed he provided the Kenner instructions that were in the late Michael Gross's collection to Hasbro. Harry Moore has done a first pass on the box art trying to replicate the original designs and he also did the decals that are on the copter itself.
