So what other concept artwork is featured on the insides? So far there's two sides of how the Pack and gun are worn, and I've seen one side of the PKE overview, what other artwork is displayed in those awesome cases? :-)

Thanks for posting the pics, Xage.

Those are all the equipment drawings done by Dic to show how everything should look.

They are included on the DVD as well.

Guess "they're on the DVD" is all I needed to hear, as some of them are stuff I haven't seen before.

Is it limited to equipment sheets, or are there some of the familiar character and Firehouse sheets as well?

It's like waiting for Christmas!
Worse for me. It probably will be after Christmas before I have the money to get this.

Interesting tidbits all round. This one for example...
* Slimer, Is That You? (76059)
* Egon's Ghost (76060)
* Captain Steel Saves The Day (76061)
* Victor The Happy Ghost (76062)

--------DISC 3--------
* Egon's Dragon (76063)
* Dairy Farm (76064)
* The Hole In The Wall Gang (76065)
(SEASON 2 ABC)
* Transylvanian Homesick Blues (140012)
(Emphasis added)

Very interesting. "Slimer Is That You?" first aired on Saturday Morning in 1987, but had Music and Summer's voices. "Transylvania Homesick Blues" was the last episode aired in first-run syndication,. but had Coulier and Soucie (though Janine's character design hadn't changed yet). I always suspected those two got "switched" for some reason, and this backs it up. (Maybe ABC thought Count Vostok was too "scary" or something :roll: )

Christmas can't get here quick enough. :x

Seriously, Fritz...you just love to impress us all with your memorization of air dates, don't you?

The boxed set I have from Time life features regular clear DVD cases - and the cover insert is double sided, cover on the outside and a production art scan of different "tools of the trade" featured throughout the series.

I don't know where else to ask this question, but here goes.

Word is that the art on the steelbook versions in the set rubs off easily. Is there some sort of protector I can stick to them like cell phone screen protectors? Should I take a whack at using a matte clear coat on them?

... had mine for years, very little case wear. I would definitely not clear coat them. I would start by finding a soft thin spacer to put in between each case, ( thin foam sheet) Then I would just re-buy my favorite episodes that I figure I'd watch all the time. $9 bucks each volume, $30 for the 1-5v. , wich is the majority of the good episodes or $46 for volume 1-10. I didn't bother to do this, but if your paranoid and extra $30-50 isn't a big investment for piece of mind... Plus you can download or Netflix almost every episode

Edit: I didn't realize that the Sony volume version jump around chronologically. But you can still eBay the time life steel cases. I just bought the V.1 the first 30 episodes for $8, and ¢99 for volume 2 disk 2, which in my opinion is the best disk out of the timelife set
