The LEDs will light as bright as they would off of any 3v power source assuming the source is fully charged. They dim over time as the battery gets drained, of course. These goggles are no longer in my possession, however I had them for several years with some regular use and the battery lasted the entire time. The best way of gauging battery life is to look up the mAh (milliampere hour) of the battery and they calculate what your draw is. LEDs draw very little amperage so that's why they will last quite a long time on low power sources.

your goggles look awesome. It looks like you have a lot of LED lights in your goggles, I see what looks like a single cr2032 coin battery holder providing power, how bright are your LEDs running off of this setup, and how long do they last before you have to replace the battery?

I see what you mean. very rough edges. But depending on the price paid it might be a steal for all I know. But it's totally workable for prop-sake. I'm sure this is a perfect accent to any costume or suit in a contest. Only people here on GBFANS would pick out the small stuff.
