From someone who owns real military issued LC1 and LC2 frames, the frame offered here is a top notch frame that's worth every penny. Everything from the frame itself to the straps and kidney band are as close as you can get to military quality specs. I'm blown away. If your putting in countless hours into a pack build make sure you protect it by anchoring it to a quality frame like this one. Also, just as a note... the straps and belt aren't as light in color as the product pictures show. They're a beautiful military olive like they're supposed to be.

This is a brand new imported ALICE Pack Frame. These frames are just like the ones used on the Proton Packs in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and include the same style straps and kidney belts as used in the film. There are a few differences between these frames and our Replica LC-1 ALICE Frames and Straps. These frames are perfect if you want a lower cost alternative and more padding than the original LC-1 frames used in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.

Might seems more expensive than other options at first glance, but what you get is well worth it; a brand new milspec frame, and better than stock straps. This would actually cost you more to put together yourself. The extra $ is worth knowing your pack will rest on a quality frame. Highly recommended.
I actually ordered mine in early Sep. I literally just got in this past Safurday (late Dec) lol. Yes quite late. But I did understand the high demand back order. I’m very happy with the frame, and glad to finally have it in my possetion. Can’t wait to finish my pack now. Thanks again!
This is an absolutely great ALICE frame. It may seem a little expensive, but the frame and webbing are not only great, but getting all of the correct stuff from eBay could very well be costly (and difficult to find if you're not completely familiar with what you need). I thought that it would be somewhat heavy, but it's extremely lightweight.

My first Alice pack was military surplus, and I had it fix damage. It cost the same as a new one with shipping.
Worth it
Fox branded frame so MILSPEC. For what you need, fits quite well. The straps and kidney belt are newer as opposed to the older type strap system. Perfect for the starting point on your pack.
I was charged for an LC-1 pack. I expected a real LC-1 pack. I received a sub par quality knockoff. The steel bars are about half the thickness of the real LC-1 packs. I would send it back if there was a return policy. If you're reading this review and about to purchase this, dont. 2 stars because it's a decent pack but not strong enough for a proton pack.
Response from GBFans.com: This is a brand new reproduction ALICE Frame in the LC-1 style. We found the best version available. This is leaps and bounds above other reproductions available. Original vintage LC-1 frames can cost 2-3x the price.
Response from GBFans.com: This was clearly listed as a reproduction and not an original frame, which as you note costs much more. While the cross bars are thinner, they are made from steel, not aluminum. Compared to other reproduction frames which use thinner aluminum, the Fox Outdoor ALICE Frame is the best import frame available.
