During a theme park planning press conference at a cemetery in Arizona, the ghosts of Wyatt Earp, his brothers and Doc Holliday appear. The Ghostbusters are called to Tombstone, Arizona to investigate. The ghostly group of cowboys come back to re-enact a famous gunfight from a hundred years ago. It's a supernatural shootout at sunset!

Trivia

  • At the begining of the episode, Egon, Ray and Winston are testing an upgraded ghost trap on Slimer, which Egon says has twice the suction as the earlier model. Interestingly, in Ghostbusters the Video Game, there is a trap upgrade that both resembles this new trap and does what the trap does, by increasing the ghost draw down rate.
  • Peter likes Westerns, and often read Duey LaMorte's books while in college.
  • Peter nicknames himself "Slim" Venkman.
  • Slimer sneaks away with the guys, and througout the episode saves Peter's life multiple times, despite Peter never knowing that the Spud was responsible.
  • Boris, the reporter, works for Random Choice Publishers.
  • Duey LaMorte's car's vanity plate reads "Bucks" on it.
  • Peter says that " .men died with their boots on in those days" referring to the violent life style of the gunslingers; oddly, when Doc Holliday died of natural causes, he was in bed and was not wearing his boots and his last words were to comment that it was funny that he was dying without his boots on.
  • Winston states he played alot of basketball; however, in a later episode, "Boo Dunit", he is tied to a rack and yelps that he doesn't even like basketball.
  • Kodak is actually seen on a sign on the Foto-Fast film kiosk on Main Street when Winston is standing beneath it, trying to blast back at the Earps and Holliday.
