This is me building a ghost trap using ingenuity. No power tools were used, except for the initial cut at home depot. Used the cheapest wood available. Used cheapest walmart spray paint for paint. Used DVD covers for trap doors. PVC for the handle. Christmas light, battery holder, and switch from radio shack for the electronics. Project box plates for all plates. Phone cards for mini plates. 2 liter bottle cap and various caps for knobs. PVC for handle and those side thingies. All other wood cutting was done with a hack saw. Holes made with screwdriver (yes, i am very deprived). Stickers are not stickers, but paper with glue on behind. Wood and other stuff held together with epoxy glue and or wood nails. Cost: about $50. The feeling from building your own prop: priceless. EDIT: 8/4/2008 I wanted to delete this picture a long time ago, but AJ insisted that I keep it up so people can see my progress from a noob to a advanced noob. :-P I made this trap my freshman year of college. --Borzou (talk)
