Real Ghostbusters: Episode Guide

The Ghostbusters inadvertently get sucked into the world of Walt Fleischman cartoons at an animation studio. Ray calls on his childhood cartoon hero, Dopey Dog to help them save Flesichman from the clutches of the evil villain, Winchester Wolf. Then of course there's still the matter of getting back to the real world!

  • Dopey Dog originally appeared in the form of a stuffed toy in The Boogieman Cometh, although his appearance was that of a completely generic dog.
  • Ray recites the words to summon Dopey Dog:

Dopey Dog, Dopey Dog, flying through the air. Dopey dog, Dopey dog, flying everywhere. Come on boy, we need you, don't let us down. Dopey Dog, Dopey Dog, we need you!!

  • The character Walt Fleischman and Fleischman Studios are a parody of Walt Disney, the Fleischer Brothers, and their respective studios.
  • Fleischman's voice is provided by prolilfic voice actor Don Messick (1926-1997), who's most famous role is that of Scooby Doo (Frank Welker, of course, is also a Scooby Doo castmember)
  • Fleischman's secretary is played by 1960s-70s actress Nancy Kulp; who was also known for her performance as Jane Hathaway from the 1960s-1970s show, The Beverly Hillbillies

Peter Venkman: 'Incalculable invalue to science,' Eh Egon?
Egon Spengler: Peter, do you know how to set your proton pack on explosive overload?
Peter Venkman: No.
Egon Spengler: I DO!
