William Atherton is an actor with a long history in movies and on stage. He is very well known for his villainous roles in Ghostbusters, Die Hard, and the cult classic Real Genius. He is also renowned for his on and off Broadway stage work.
Atherton attended the Carnegie Institute of Technology and got his first real break starring in The Sugarland Express, which was also Steven Spielberg's first feature film. According to Harold Ramis, Atherton claims that people occasionally still call him "Dickless" when he's seen in public, a reference to Ghostbusters.
