Until GBFans offers superstraps, these are the most comfortable straps around. I tried a set of vintage LC-1 straps and they were just too old and stiff. Really happy with these.
Considering you can get a rothco frame with straps for the same price, it's still worth it. The waist belt and straps are apart of the Ghostbusters aesthetic, just like anything else on the suit. If you're looking for an accurate look these are it. Great upgrade for rothco or new frame from gbfans.
I was worried about the color when I ordered because the photo in the store looks off to me. But the product I received looks great. Very close the the OD green that the Rothco comes in, but with a bit less sheen. The straps on the shoulder are slightly shorter than I expected (far shorter than LC2 straps) I don’t know if this is normal for vintage LC1. That said, they are long enough to securely attach to the frame without any extra slack to mange. Other than the lack of wear and the stamping on the back, these pass as the real deal.
So happy with the quality of these! The color looks perfect, as does the thin quick-release waist belt. This looks perfect on my GB1-based pack!
