- A cover gallery
A short story titled "The Man Who Sought Death," originally planned as an eight-page addition to this volume, was moved to Volume 3 after writer Erik Burnham began work on the script in April 2012.
The back cover features artwork posted by Dan Schoening on July 10, 2012: a rendition of the Mass Hysteria scene from the first Ghostbusters film, with easter eggs drawn from issues #5-8 hidden in the scene, including a printout on a Ghostbusters receipt with quotes from the Chapter 24 scene, a newspaper featuring Scotty from issue #5, and a file on Eugene Visitor with a reference to the address of Mrs. Roger's House.
Development
On February 21, 2012, Erik Burnham cited unconfirmed reports that the second trade collection might be released in July 2012. On April 16, 2012, Burnham announced he was beginning the eight-page script for the bonus short story planned for this volume. Two days later, on April 18, editor Tom Waltz revealed that story had been moved to Volume 3. The collection shipped on schedule in July.
