Dennys McCoy is a television writer who worked with his writing partner Pamela Hickey on The Real Ghostbusters and Slimer!. The pair have written together since the 1980s.

For The Real Ghostbusters McCoy and Hickey wrote episodes including The Long, Long, Long, etc. Goodbye and Banshee Bake a Cherry Pie?. They also contributed scripts to Slimer!. McCoy has said the pair still receives BMI residuals for the "We Love To Trash Cars" song heard in "Don't Forget the Motor City."1
