Controversies
On MattyCollector.com's forum page, they announced information in regards to the proton gun/wand/neutron wand/neutrino wand stating they had been allowed by Sony to handle the original prop. Many were dumbfounded when MattyCollector was informed that the hose located on the banjo tips on the barrel was red instead of their prototype green. MattyCollector initially faced major backlash when they announced they were going ahead with the prototype as the finished product. The pushback was sufficient that MattyCollector gave in and changed the prototyping from green to red on the hose.
