Ghost Trap

So as a few of you may or may not know, I'm going to school to be a Tech Ed teacher. This semseter I'm taking a class where you can basically build whatever you want, so long as you can convince the professor that it'll help you in your future career. Not wanting to spend another shop class building useless knick-knacks, or making a futon or a table because I have to, I decided to see if I could convince my teacher to let me build a Ghost Trap. Thinking he'd be skeptical at best, I spent a TON of time writing up the required paperwork, talking about how I can make some CAD drawings to improve my CAD skills, and how this will improve my woodworking skills, and so on. I go to my meeting with the professor to get the project approved I sit down and he looks at his list, asks about this "movie prop replica" I want to make. I show him some pictures, he looks over my paperwork and approves it. And thus, I successfully met my hobby with my education. TLDR; I'm building a trap for a class I'm taking. The goal here was to kind of make a mix of the GB1 and GB2 trap. I like the compact look of the GB2 trap, but I like all the little details on the GB1 Trap more (red rods, different knobs etc.) Not screen accurate by any means, but I basically want to go for a degree of accuracy and some personal tastes. Enjoy.
