I have more pictures to come. I am currently building 3 packs from scratch out of Basswood. I had originally started my pack with foam and Bass wood with the intent on Silicon and fiber glassing the forms for all three. I finished making the model and finished the silicone but, unfortunately, the silicone ripped beyond saving when I was trying to take it off, so since I am quite poor right now I decided to finish by building them all from scratch. Its been a long process (since I started in December,2008), but I am happy with the results so far. Update 9/6/09: So I've gotten a little farther along. I now have all my cyclotrons made. I have constructed 2 of my 3 Iron arms. I'm making them with wood, but will hopefully upgrade to aluminum in the near future. I have also created a mold and 2 resin casts of my bumper, as well as my resistors. I cut my mother boards out of a very lightweight thin plywood. Since I am working with basswood and am cutting everything with a box knife, I actually glued all my main pieces first and then traced them onto the ply to create my mother boards. Each pack is slightly different so I figured this would be the best way to make the motherboard with as few alterations as possible. Currently, I am in the process of assembling everything, and will be ready for primer and paint in the near future. Update 9/13/09: Almost finished with Assembling all the packs. They are now all mounted to their motherboards and alice frames. I've drilled all the necessary holes for the legis elbows and such and am almost ready for paint. I just need to finish casting the circles for the cyclotron lights and I'll be ready to go paint.
