Here's my Staypuft costume. It took about 4 weeks to make taking up an hour or so each day after work. Made of mainly budget upholstery foam and and cotton fabric at the cost of about £200. I used a scale drawing of the 1980's RGB toy staypuft to measure up to fit my 6 ft frame, the rest was done pretty much by eye. The party i wore it at was a smallish house and it took me 20 minutes to get the door closed behind me as everyone seemed to want a picture, the things we do eh? I built an internal hydration unit (A bottle with some silicone tubing in) to keep the Rum and coke flowing, this backfired and i ended up making the legs look like an old man's mattress when i let the tube go from my mouth, the floor didn't look so good either. I've never sweated so much in my life, i've sweated less playing Ice hockey in full kit!
