Ectomobile

Hello all- I'm new to the site and wanted share my finished project: "Ecto Van"- 2000 Pontiac Montana. This is our family driver. My goal was to keep it 100% temporary. It takes about 30 minutes to hook up. It is contained in a large plastic base and uses the luggage system to hold it in place. I use a project box inside to control the lights and run the siren sound from a CD hooked up to speaker up top. It's made from scrap parts I've held on to over the years. My background is in the A/C industry so I lean heavy on that. I decided to keep it simple and use my "artistic license". I have a smaller green side tank, just one yellow side tank in the form of a high pressure sphere, strips of running lights rather than light bars, one amber-one white rotating beacon, chrome plated nav-dome, and custom made weather-wind thingy, and moved the advertising up to the dish. I plan to trim it out with some good warning labels and scrolling signs soon. I use it mainly to drop my kids off at school in the morning then take it to work on Fridays. I'm slowly breaking them in to my 80's culture. -Any feed back is welcome!
