My much admired (GB fans or not) Seiko m516-4009 Voice Note Wrist Watch. Released in 1983, it was the world's first commercial digital watch with a built-in voice recorder. It can record a low-quality eight-second clip (or a higher quality, albeit shorter, four-second clip). It stores only one sampled clip at a time but it can be played over and over. Control is through the simple play/record buttons on front with the fairly-loud speaker on the left. the case itself of this model is special in that it was constructed of carbon-fibre (the use of which at the time being quite a revolution) and stainless-steel. The unit has, in addition to the recording mechanism, the usual features, such as a stop-watch, an alarm, illumination, a day-date display and an hour-chime.They were made in low quantities for sure!
