The "gun ears" is the name given to the two parts on either side of the barrel tube at the end of the thrower. One side is angled and has a banjo fitting attached, the other side has a hat light and pushbutton installed and acts as a mounting stop for the forward grip. Both parts are welded to the barrel handle tube.
