Ghostbusters 2 Comics

In 1989, while NOW Comics was publishing its ongoing Real Ghostbusters comic, the company also adapted the film Ghostbusters II as a three-issue mini-series. The twist was that the adaptation did not use the likenesses of the live-action cast. Instead it told the movie's story using the animated characters from The Real Ghostbusters, the cartoon NOW already held the comics license for.
The mini-series was adapted by the same creative team behind NOW's ongoing Real Ghostbusters title, writer James Van Hise and artist John Tobias.
