Ghostbusters Crew

8 min read

This is the production crew of the original Ghostbusters (1984), the people who worked behind the camera to make the film. It covers the producing team, the heads of department, and the large effects, sound, and camera units who built the picture's ghosts, gear, and look. Cast members are credited on the film's own page; this roster is the off-screen crew, drawn from the film's credits.

The film was produced and directed by Ivan Reitman, scored by Elmer Bernstein, and its ghost and creature effects were created by the Entertainment Effects Group (EEG) under visual effects supervisor Richard Edlund.
