Allison McKay

Allison McKay (born in Walla Walla, Washington; died December 7, 2025, in Vermont, at age 89) was an American actress with a career spanning more than five decades of film and television. She was among the earliest female comedians working in Hollywood and built a steady presence on network television from the late 1960s onward, appearing in such classic series as Marcus Welby, M.D., Adam-12, Room 222, Green Acres, and Gomer Pyle: U.S.M.C., often in the role of teachers, neighbors, secretaries, or concerned parents.

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024), McKay appeared as Ms. Mikowski, the grieving widow who arrives at Ray's Occult Books early in the film, convinced that her late husband's spirit is bound to his wristwatch. The role was among her final screen appearances. She also appeared in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023) and Elsbeth (2024).
