Chiara Petersen is a Canadian actress with film and television credits in the late 2010s and early 2020s, known for productions filmed in western Canada. She portrayed Burner Girl in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021).1
Career
Petersen's screen credits include Sex, Lies and Murder (2018)1 and the FX/Hulu limited series Under the Banner of Heaven (2022), a crime drama adapted from Jon Krakauer's non-fiction account of a 1984 double murder investigation in Utah, starring Andrew Garfield.2 Her work spans both dramatic and genre productions.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
In Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), Petersen portrays Burner Girl, a student at Summerville Middle School attending the summer school science class taught by Gary Grooberson. She sits at the back of class alongside a student referred to as Thick Neck, including during the class screening of the film Chucky. Burner Girl also appears in the film's second theatrical trailer in a deleted scene in which a redheaded boy pops a bag of Doritos in Phoebe Spengler's face.
