Claire Titelman

Claire Titelman is an American actress, writer, and stand-up comedian based in Los Angeles. She holds a B.A. from Bard College and trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade. She was named one of LA Weekly's artists to watch and received a nomination for the Andy Kaufman Award for her experimental comedy work.

Her television credits include recurring appearances as a roundtable panelist on Chelsea Lately, as well as roles in Veronica Mars, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, Cold Case, and Wilfred. She wrote, directed, and starred in the short film Remember Me, which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Her independent feature I've Got Issues (2019), which she also starred in, premiered at the Austin Film Festival and received a New York Times Critic's Pick designation.

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024), Titelman played Shelby Blutarsky, a reporter for 8 WDCU television in New York. In the scene, which was cut from the theatrical release, Shelby reports live in Queens on a freak summer storm, relaying eyewitness statements about a ten-foot cloaked figure asking for someone called the "Fire Master" and describing unexplained hail and snow moving from Coney Island to Midtown Manhattan. Titelman remains credited in the end titles as "News Correspondent." The character's surname is a reference to John "Bluto" Blutarsky, the John Belushi character from National Lampoon's Animal House.
