Career
Baker began his voice-acting career in the early 1990s. His first major break came as the announcer and the voice of Olmec, the giant talking stone head, on Nickelodeon's game show Legends of the Hidden Temple (1993-1995).1 He also co-hosted the game show Shop 'til You Drop1 and had a recurring live-action role as Phil Berg on Nickelodeon's The Journey of Allen Strange.1 A landmark early film credit was voicing Daffy Duck, the Tasmanian Devil, and Toro in Space Jam (1996).1
He broadened his animation roster through the late 1990s, landing roles on Cow and Chicken (1997) and The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest (1996). Over the following two decades he became one of the defining voices in American animation, accumulating thousands of credited roles across television series, feature films, and video games. Notable among his long-running television work:
- Klaus Heisler in American Dad!, the German-accented goldfish that Baker has voiced across more than 20 seasons.
