Damian Muziani is an American actor, writer, filmmaker, and broadcaster born in Woodbury, New Jersey. He studied at William Paterson University, where he co-founded and executive-produced the student production company Test Pattern. After college, he pursued stage acting before transitioning to a career that spans radio, television, and film.
As a broadcaster, Muziani served as an on-air anchor for 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia and hosted the daytime talk show Better Philly on PHL17 from 2008 to 2011. His Emmy-nominated writing credits include Hindsight Tonight, a weekly comedy-news program he also produces and hosts. On screen, his credits include Saturday Night Live, Billions, Blue Bloods, Girls5eva, A League of Their Own, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and The Studio, among others.
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024), Muziani portrayed the Taxi Driver (In Traffic), a cab driver stuck in Chinatown traffic when Garraka unleashes the Death Chill across New York City. The character looks up at the sky and witnesses the instantaneous transformation from a sunny heatwave to darkness, wind, and winter as the supernatural cold descends on the city. The Taxi Driver had dialogue in the script, but the lines were cut from the final version of the film.
