Finn Wolfhard (born December 23, 2002, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian actor best known to Ghostbusters fans for portraying Trevor Spengler in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024). He is also widely recognized for his role as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things (Netflix, 2016-2022).

Wolfhard played Trevor Spengler across both entries in the Afterlife continuity. Trevor is the grandson of Egon Spengler, and the older sibling of Phoebe in the Spengler family.

For the scene in Ghostbusters: Afterlife where Trevor is slimed by Slimer in the Firehouse attic, the production built a specialized slime rig worn on the actor's body. The rig consisted of two pressure tanks and a vessel between them that held the slime. When the valve was triggered, slime traveled through tubes into a bowl designed to reverse its direction, simulating being slimed from above. The crew spent several weeks testing the rig with multiple test subjects before the final design was approved.
A line of dialogue in Afterlife where Trevor tells Podcast to stop breathing in his ear was improvised by Wolfhard on set.
Wolfhard won the 2022 Saturn Award for Younger Actor in a Film for his performance as Trevor in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
