Joe Michael Straczynski was lead Story Editor on the Real Ghostubsters{.wikilink} during Seasons 1 & 2 he was also a writer on numerous early episodes. He was responsible for writing the Real Ghostbusters production bible, which was used by the crew to develop the characters and maintain a consistant storyline. The character The Great Strazinski{.wikilink} from the Real Ghostbusters{.wikilink} episode You Can't Teach an Old Demon New Tricks{.wikilink} is named after him. He left the Real Ghostbusters when it took a more child friendly approach with Slimer!{.wikilink}, but was persauded to return in Season 6{.wikilink}. The episode Janine You've Changed{.wikilink} was a tongue in cheek approach to explain why the characters were changing in their appearances, and even in voice (as some voice over artists were replaced in the previous seasons).
