Career
Pacheco's primary profession is as a strolling guitarist at The Gardens of Taxco, a Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood.4 Director Paul Feig is a regular patron of the restaurant, and when casting Spy (2015) he looked to Pacheco for a small but memorable role.4 Feig needed an actor with, in his words, "a really sweet face who it would be hard to fire" for the part of the gardener that spy handler Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is reluctantly ordered to dismiss.4 Feig flew Pacheco to Budapest to film the sequence, giving him his screen debut.4
Having worked with Pacheco on Spy, Feig cast him again the following year in Ghostbusters (2016), this time as Fernando the Janitor at the Stonebrook Theatre.3

Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016)
Pacheco plays Fernando the Janitor, an employee at the Stonebrook Theatre in Manhattan.5 Fernando is the first victim shown in the film's central investigation sequence: the ghost Mayhem emerges from a wall vent backstage and hurls him violently around the room.5 His life is spared only because the theater manager Jonathan enters and screams, startling Mayhem away.
Paramedics carry Fernando out on a stretcher as the Ghostbusters arrive. He is conscious but clearly traumatized, muttering "Diablo" repeatedly.5 Erin Gilbert attempts to translate, reaching the non-sequitur conclusion that he is saying something about a chicken frying itself in a library.5 Patty Tolan is not convinced.
