Jessica Chaffin

Jessica Chaffin is an American actress, comedian, writer, and podcaster born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts. She established herself in the New York comedy scene at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, where she and Jamie Denbo developed the characters Ronna and Beverly for an all-Jewish "Kosher Christmas Show" in 2006. The duo built that concept into a popular stage show, a Showtime comedy special, and the long-running Ronna and Beverly podcast on Earwolf. Chaffin has spoken about her Jewish upbringing as an influence on the characters.
Her television credits include all four seasons of Zoey 101, where she portrayed Coco Wexler, and the CBS sitcom Man with a Plan. Film director Paul Feig, a fan of the Ronna and Beverly act, cast both Chaffin and Denbo in The Heat (2013) and Spy (2015) before bringing them back for Ghostbusters. Chaffin has also appeared in numerous other television productions across comedy and drama.
In Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016) Chaffin played a Waitress, appearing alongside her longtime comedy partner Jamie Denbo, who was separately cast in the same role in the film.
