John Milhiser (born November 29, 1981, Belle Mead, New Jersey) is an American actor and comedian. He attended Montgomery High School in Skillman, New Jersey before enrolling at Hofstra University, where he graduated in 2004 with a degree in Film Studies and Production. He began performing regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2005, where he was a member of the sketch comedy group Serious Lunch.
Milhiser joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for the 2013 to 2014 season, becoming one of a small number of openly gay male cast members in the show's history. During his season he performed impressions of Jon Cryer, Billie Joe Armstrong, Matthew McConaughey, and Verne Troyer. His contract was not renewed for season 40 and he departed in July 2014. He has continued to work in comedy performance and film.
In Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016) Milhiser played a Higgins Student, a supporting character in the opening scenes set at the Kenneth P. Higgins Institute, the university where Abby Yates and Jillian Holtzmann run their paranormal studies lab before the Ghostbusters form.
