Justin Jon Ross is an American actor and voice actor who was active primarily during the 1990s and early 2000s.1 He is best known as a child and teen performer, appearing in feature films such as Little Giants (1994) and Big Bully (1996), and for providing recurring voices in animated series including Recess.1 In the Ghostbusters universe, he contributed guest voice work to Extreme Ghostbusters in 1997.
Career
Ross began his career in the early 1990s with television work in series including Reasonable Doubts, Sinatra, and It Had to Be You (CBS, 1993), where he played the recurring role of Sebastian Quinn.1 Through the mid-1990s he appeared in a variety of sitcoms and dramas in guest capacities, including The Nanny (CBS, 1995, as Frankie Tattori),1 Men Behaving Badly, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, The George Wendt Show, The Martin Short Show, Phenom, and Ellen.2
On the big screen, Ross played Young Danny in the Rick Moranis comedy Little Giants (Warner Bros., 1994), and returned to play Young David alongside Moranis again in Big Bully (Warner Bros., 1996).1 Later he appeared as Jess Wheatley in the Disney Channel original movie The Thirteenth Year (1999).1
Ross carried on a parallel voice acting career throughout the same period. He voiced the toddler on Life with Louie (animated, 1995) and provided multiple roles as E. Brian Small on The Adventures of Hyperman (CBS, 1995-1996).1 One of his longest-running animated credits was the role of Phil the scout on Recess (ABC), which began in 1997 and continued into the early 2000s;1 he also appeared in the direct-to-video film Recess: Taking the Fifth Grade.2 Additional animated credits include Oh Yeah! Cartoons!, Lloyd in Space, and the animated Jumanji series.2
In live-action television he continued to appear through the late 1990s, with roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (The WB, 1997, as Joey in the episode "The Pack"),1 MADtv, Touched by an Angel (CBS, 1998, as Young Jake),2 and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (ABC, 1999, as Warren).1 His credits also include Time of Your Life and the film Double Down.2 His acting credits trail off after approximately 2002-2003.2
