Louise Troy

Louise Troy (November 9, 1933, Manhattan, New York - May 5, 1994) was an American stage and screen actress who came from a family with deep roots in New York's Yiddish theater tradition. Her mother was an actress in the Yiddish theater, as was her maternal grandmother and two great-aunts. Troy studied with Lee Strasberg and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, making her off-Broadway debut in 1954 in Jean Cocteau's The Infernal Machine and her Broadway debut the following year in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Pipe Dream, directed by Elia Kazan.
Troy built a substantial Broadway career over the following decade. She received Tony Award nominations for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for both Tovarich (1963) and Walking Happy (1966), and her signature stage role was the lead in High Spirits (1964). She was married to actor Werner Klemperer from 1969 to 1975, and later to actor and director Douglas Seale from 1992 until her death. Troy died of breast cancer in New York City in 1994 at the age of 60.
In Ghostbusters II (1989), Troy appeared as the Woman with Fur Coat, one of the Manhattan ensemble characters who crosses paths with the supernatural events unfolding in the city.
