Melissa L. Disney (born November 20, 1970, San Diego County, California) is an American voice actress, actress, singer-songwriter, writer, and film producer.1 She is best known for voicing the title character Ginger Foutley in the Nickelodeon animated series As Told by Ginger (2000-2006), a role associated with three Emmy Award nominations.1 She is also recognized as a pioneer in breaking the unwritten industry ban on women voicing action film trailers, most notably with the Gone in 60 Seconds (2000) campaign.2 In the Ghostbusters universe, she guest-voiced in Extreme Ghostbusters, appearing in two episodes in 1997.34

Melissa Disney was born on November 20, 1970, in San Diego County, California. She is the daughter of actress Louise Gallagher and Dan Sullivan Smith.2 Through her mother, she is the granddaughter of Toy Gallagher, a silent film actress who was first cousins with Walt Disney and Roy O.
