Sydney Mae Diaz (born May 16, 1995, in Queens, New York)1 is an American actor, musician, and songwriter who identifies as a trans man. He made his first screen appearance in the web series Strangers (2017)2 and built his profile through streaming roles that centered LGBTQ+ characters. His breakthrough came with the role of J in HBO Max's Genera+ion (2021), and he has since appeared in Iron Fist, High Fidelity, Search Party, and The Consultant. He is also the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the Long Island rock band Anxioushum.3 Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) marked his feature film debut.
