Tom Yi

Tom Yi is an American actor born and raised in the South Bay area of Southern California. He attended Denver University before transferring to Loyola Marymount University, and has worked in multiple countries across three continents over the course of his career. He is known for a recurring role as Detective Rodriguez on FX's The Shield (2002), and has guest appearances across a range of well-known series including The West Wing, Monk, Men of a Certain Age, Arrested Development, and The Office. In film, his credits include Bridesmaids (2011, directed by Paul Feig), This Is 40 (2012), and The Purge (2013). He also appeared as Rabbi Chang, the brother of Ken Jeong's character Senor Chang, in a notable guest role on NBC's Community.

In Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016, directed by Paul Feig), Yi played the Flashed Man, a passerby caught in the path of the Flasher Ghost during the film's ghost-invasion sequence in New York.
