William T. Deutschendorf

William T. Deutschendorf (born April 29, 1988, in Los Angeles, California) is an American former child actor who shared the role of Baby Oscar in Ghostbusters II (1989) with his identical twin brother Henry J. "Hank" Deutschendorf II. As is standard practice with infant roles on film productions, the brothers alternated in the part to work around strict time limits on child performers. Their sole screen credit, Ghostbusters II was released when the twins were just over a year old. William is the nephew of folk singer-songwriter John Denver through his father's side of the family.
After leaving the entertainment industry, both brothers pursued careers in martial arts instruction, training from a young age and eventually becoming instructors at the West Coast Martial Arts Academy in California. William also completed a degree in education around 2010. Hank Deutschendorf passed away on June 14, 2017, at age 29, due to complications from schizoaffective disorder. In 2025, William launched a fundraising campaign for Friends for Survival, a nonprofit supporting those bereaved by suicide loss, on what would have been the brothers' shared birthday.
