Real Ghostbusters: Episode Guide

The Real Ghostbusters was the animated series based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters. It premiered on ABC's Saturday morning block on September 13, 1986 and ran until 1991.¹ This guide collects the show's seasons and episodes, along with the spin-off Slimer! & The Real Ghostbusters. The series ran for seven seasons. Episode totals reported elsewhere vary depending on how the separately produced syndicated cartoons and the Slimer! segments are counted, so this guide groups entries by season rather than fixing a single headline number. A run of syndicated cartoons aired on weekdays alongside the ABC Saturday morning broadcasts.

The original voice cast paired Lorenzo Music as Peter Venkman, Maurice LaMarche as Egon Spengler, Frank Welker as Ray Stantz and Slimer, Arsenio Hall as Winston Zeddemore, and Laura Summer as Janine Melnitz. In later seasons Dave Coulier took over Venkman and Kath Soucie took over Janine, and some earlier episodes were re-dubbed to match.¹
