The Boogieman Cometh

The Carter Family Megan and Kenny Carter are two young children plagued by the Boogieman who hire the Ghostbusters using money from their piggy bank. Megan and Kenny's parents of course don't believe it.Trivia-This episode was featured in a set of View Master reels. The View Master was very popular in the 1980's. -It is revealed that the Boogieman is the reason Egon started investigating the supernatural. -Dopey Dog is featured in this episode as a generic looking dog stuffed animal. Later in the series however, Dopey Dog is a cartoon superhero dog in the episode Who're You Calling Two Dimensional? The song used in this episode is The Boogieman by Tahiti. -In this episode, it is spelled "Boogieman" but it is spelled different later in the series in The Bogeyman is Back -Peter is seen in his pajamas but after Egon suggests they investigate, Peter is immediately in his brown jumpsuit. -At the Carter house, two Peters get out of Ecto-1. -Ray is seen wearing gloves in this episode at one point. -When Egon slams his fist down talking about the Boogieman, the audio is out of sync.Quotes[table
