The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is played by William Bryan in the 1984 film, Ghostbusters. William Bryan also designed the character and created the Stay Puft costume. In the film, Stay Puft is the destructor-form Gozer embodies towards the films climax. Gozer's destructor form was chosen by Dr. Ray Stantz in an attempt to pick the most harmless character he can think of. The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is the only "ghost" character that remains from Dan Aykroyd's (co-writer and actor) original screenplay that spanned over two hundered pages.
